We offer full and pasture board at Back 9 Farms. We treat each boarded horse with the love and care that we treat our own personal horses. We offer large 12 x 12 box stalls with feeders that open up into the aisle for easy access. Our stalls feature 3/4" mats over crushed limestone. We have a wash bay with running hot and cold water and a large tack room. We have well-maintained pastures with horse-safe fencing.

Full board consists of a stall with shavings cleaned daily, turn out, AM & PM feedings of quality grain, hay, fresh water, and use of the facilities, including the two round pens, arena, wash rack, and trails. We are happy to work with each owner about specific needs that his/her horse might have. We provide stall fans in the summer for your horse's comfort. We will be happy to add any supplements that you use to your horse's feed . We do a daily spot check of your horse as we bring him/her in & out, looking over their eyes, hooves, body and skin condition to look for any problems. Additionally, we are glad to schedule appointments with our farrier, veterinarian, and dentist for you, or you may invite your own. We require excellent vet care for all of our personal and boarded horses, including all vaccinations and a regular worming schedule.
Pasture board consists of free choice hay, clean water, and the use of the facilities. Our pastures are well maintained, with fertilizer and lime applied to produce the best quality of grass possible. You may choose to purchase grain to supplement your horse's diet of grass/hay.

We do not usually offer horses for sale , but we can offer buying consultation if you are searching for the right horse. Buying a horse is an expensive and long-term commitment. We want all of our boarders to have suitable and appropriate mounts. We are often glad to help our lesson students and future boarders in their search for the correct horse.
